The Road Surface Treatments Association (RSTA) and the Institute of Highways Engineers (IHE) have entered into a Professional Development Partnership. This will see a number of distinct benefits for their respective memberships that will help forward both the highways and road surface treatments sectors.

The benefits include reciprocal discounted member access to each organisations’ training programmes, mutual promotion of training via each other’s websites and marketing to promote professional training and ongoing collaboration at industry events and initiatives.

Of the agreed partnership Steve Spender, IHE CEO, said: “I am really pleased that we have formed this partnership with the RSTA in providing training and other areas of support for those working in the highways sector.” In response, Paul Boss, RSTA CEO, said: “Increased collaboration and co-operation between RSTA and IHE will benefit not only our respective members but the highways industry as a whole. I look forward to working with the IHE on a wide range of training and industry initiatives.
